SUNLT Future: A Look at the Past, Present, and Future

So this post is about two weeks late, but better now than never!

The Past

I started this blog back in about…..2015? 2016? Around the time Super Watermelon Aired, mostly for the purpose of wanting to contribute something to what was my first fandom. My art and writing skills were something still to be desired, so fanart and fanfiction were off the table, but I did have quite a few theories I wanted to offer my 2 cents on, so I started Steven Universe Ask and Answer (or sua&a for short). Originally, the blog was set up so different people could ask me questions about the show, and I would offer my opinions. Alongside this, I also posted a few of my own SU theories. Later on, I also started posting news and leaks related to the show, and started the Things Confirmed In series, where I would go over everything revealed in an episode after it aired. (Which surprisingly got very popular?) Eventually, I moved away from the ask and answer part of my blog, and renamed the blog to Steven Universe: New, Leaks, and Theories, or SUNLT for short.

The Present

Overall, I think to blog had a good run. I had a few semi-viral posts ( and that one viral post with the Too Short To Ride leaks), I started an OKKO-nlt blog for a few theories, and briefly had a job as a writer for Cartoon Universe.

But as some of y'all may have seen, the blog hasn’t been updating as much as of late. The reason being is that, when I first started the blog, it was kind of the only thing on my plate. But as time went on, things changed. School got more intense, and I started to put more time into developing my art, which is what I wanted to go into later on in my life. Overall, I think choosing to focus on my art was a positive change in my life, which brings us to…

The Future

With SU being over and no current plans for a spinoff, the question remains: What happens to SUNLT with no SU? And I think the best answer to that question is to take a page from Steven’s book. SU has been a major part of my life since 2013, and I can safely say that the show played its part into helping me develop into the person I am today. But, following in Stevens steps, sometimes the best thing we can do to develop as people is to move on and find something new.

Ill be keeping my ear to the pavement and posting about anything SU related if it comes up, but until then, this is SUNLT, signing out.

Sour Cream and Yellowtail hangout more (The can be seen in the beginning of the episode on Yellowtails boat listening to music)
Repairs have started on Little Homeworld
While in monster form, Steven can run on all fours, run on water, and use a soundwave attack that causes his horns and spikes to glow
Monster Steven is larger than the temple and Alexandrite (I’d put him around the size of Obsidian?)
